As part of the Literature Course, Year 2 Junior High students were introduced to the Bildungsroman, a literary genre which follows the protagonist from youth to adulthood. After reading an extract from ‘Jane Eyre’ by Charlotte Brontë focusing on Jane’s early years, they were left on a cliffhanger and asked to produce their own version of events.
